What inspired your design? And how does it fit the criteria?

When trying to think of the essence of Baltimore, of course the first thing that comes to mind is the Inner Harbor. A simple representation of the skyline and the ocean beneath it seemed to come together for me. I made the "o" in "Baltimore" the headset, as it is the tool of the dispatch trade. A heart line on either side represents the responder portion of our job. The APCO logo is cut out of the sunset, looming large over the host city. A couple Orioles finish it off. I tried to keep the aesthetic to a nice, ocean sunset with a vintage touch!

What inspired your design? And how does it fit the criteria?

Maryland is known for their unique flag and their blue crabs. I feel that a blue crab wearing a headset in front of the Maryland flag for my t-shirt design fits the criteria.
